Cheerleading is about far more than sidelines and routines. Through teamwork, encouragement, discipline, and performance, NHCA cheerleaders develop confidence, leadership, and a servant's heart while inspiring school spirit and glorifying Christ in every performance and competition.
Competitive and Sideline Cheer
Sideline Cheer
Elementary team for 3rd through 5th grade
Junior High team for grades 6th through 8th
High School team available for grades 9th through 12th
Practices begin in August
Performs at baskbetball games, assemblies, and other school and community events
Multiple team-bonding events throughout the year
Competition Cheer
Team is comprised of athletes in 6th-12th grade
Attends 2 to 3 competitions a year
Performs at select basketball games and events
Practices begin in May and continue throughout the summer and fall
